There are two things I factor into my decision making when determining a woman's attractiveness (now I mean attractiveness as a purely visual context, not personality, separate issue).
Curves: breasts and hips, the hourglass shape of a woman - which is also the rarest (four shapes in total, pear, apple, banana, hourglass), see here:
Basically want the hourglass shape, also weight is an important factor - I prefer women on the skinny side, maybe on the tail end of their BMI but not anorexic/skeletal - that gets unappealing fast. Also fat chicks are horribly unappealing as well.
Facial Structure: the other important aspect, quite hard to pin down into individual parts though. Usually I see a chick and her face will just "click" with me or not. I will say I prefer more angular facial structures, with my hypothesis being that angular facial structures are indicative of a slimmer body. Eye make-up, paritcularly eye-shadow, I find quite attractive. Hair style, I prefer shoulder length, perhaps with curls, no ponytails though; hair colour irrelevant.
Amy Adams as my hair candidate.
Also some other things I find unattractive: any chick who is taller then me I automatically consider unattractive, skin tone - basically I am racist with my skin tones I am white I am turned off by black and coloured skin.
Just quickly touching on personality you will find yourselves attracted to people you know longer as well. There is a certain theory, I can't remember exactly what it is called - but yeh it basically says people tend to have increased likening to something they are exposed to more often.
Now as for myself, well I'm fairly happy with my face I believe I have an attractive face however I am not too happy with my body, aka I would like more muscles.
I do have the V-torso, which is generally considered an attractive quality in a man, and my forearm is half the size of my upper arm which is good. But basically I would like to decrease my overall body weight and increase my muscle rate, I would like a six-pack for eg.
My BMI is only like 1point below overweight so naturally I would like to drop some weight to keep my BMI on the tail end of healthy. As for my height I am 6feet which is nothing I can do about but its not too bad I'm generally taller then most females which is also an attractive quality in a male.
I made an interesting reflection earlier: attractiveness in males is based on hardwork (ie hitting gym and geting muscle tone up) and only a small fraction of luck (facial features and whatnot) whereas attractiveness in females is based largely on luck (the face as well, but largely body shape: the hourglass shape is not attained through hardwork, its genetic, and also the rarest of the four shapes; a study from 6000 women showed only 8% had the hourglass shape - certainly makes you rethink the claim "there's plenty more fish in the sea", doesn't it) and only a small fraction of hardwork (ie hitting the gym to reduce weight and improve body tone,).
None.
